Herm Sprenger collars are widely considered to be the best dog training pinch collar on the market today and this new black stainless steel prong collar is not exception. The black stainless steel prong collar is a great tool for training and tends to blend in with the coat of a dark colored dog, making it less visible. Herm Sprenger decided to take their most popular collars and employ an innovative manufacturing process to galvanize the stainless steel which colours the upper layer of material. The black inox finish is not only on the top material bit embedded in the substrate material which reduces the abrasion during usage. Herm Sprenger has conducted numerous tests with this new material process and confirms that the surface behaviour will not degrade prematurely. Herm Sprenger will not warranty the collar for colour abrasion as under regular usage the colour may lighten somewhat and take on an 'antique-look'. Quality of the steel will be un-effected.
